OH CANADA!!

We have now arrived safe and sound in Canada after a 14 hour flight direct from Sydney. I managed to get a bit of sleep on the plane but poor Ben didn't really get sleepy until 20mins from landing. That wasn't going to work so well.
Trina and Grant picked us up at the airport which was a huge relief since we were tired and had heaps of stuff!! We even had to buy another bag at Sydney airport or get charged $150DN for excess baggage since one of our bags weighed too much. We spent one night with them and then headed to the Nanaimo on Vancouver Island to spend the night with Brad and Jackie(my brother and his partner.)
We went to the Dingy Dock Pub, Nanaimo, floating pub which you can only get to by ferry or by canoeing or kayaking. (Jackie has the photos.) It was really fun! Ben had wanted to go there since I told him about it when we were in Canada last time. Now thats a long time to wait for a drink!!
After that we headed to Victoria for a few days. My twin Mike and his wife, Christie and their awesome baby, Brynn live there.

So, we are now back in Vancouver staying with Trina & Grant, Managed to get a great deal on a new snowboard for me yesterday. I bought a 2008 Burton board worth $1000 in NZ for $250! I love it when you find a great bargain like that.
Tues we go to the Canucks game downtown and then take the bus to Kelowna on Wed!!
