Nikki & Ben- the next chapter in Australia

It was sometime in June 2001 when Nikki met Ben. It was across the road at the "Walkabout" Pub in Newquay, Cornwall. England. They had had a few snakebites and realized that Ben lived across the Rd. too. He was on the 3rd floor of the Hostel and Nikki was on the 2nd. Since then they have travelled around the UK, Europe, and lived in Canada, Australia and NZ. Now after nearly 11 years together they are two months away from making the ultimate commitment, marriage!

Photos From Our Australian Holiday

So, we had a great time as usual over in Australia for the two weeks prior to arriving in Canada. This time felt a bit different knowing that all going to plan we would be back there living permantley in just over six months!
The highlight of our trip was our three day camping trip at South West Rocks which is about two hours north of Port Macquarie, NSW. Ben's mom had booked about five sites right on the water. The weather was perfect, hot and sunny! Pretty much his entire family minus a few came with their trailors full of camping gear and kids....it was great. We ended up buying the tent we borrowed off of Becky & Michael(Ben's sister.) It is a four person two room, dome tent. It was a castle and will be really fun for car camping trips in the future.
