This woman came into the hostel reception today and asked me to book her a bed in Queenstown. She had come in the evening before but we were full. She then told me about how she was hitching around NZ by herself and that it was her 80th birthday yesterday! This woman didn't look a day over 60...so for those of you who think they are too old to do something or are feeling a little older today. Think of this woman. I asked her what her secret was and she said....walking. Crazy :)
